We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and provide high-quality behavioral support to children aged 5-17 in community settings. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans targeting social, communication, and daily living skills for clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to clients in various community settings, such as schools, parks, and homes.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavioral responses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment to facilitate skill acquisition and generalization of learned behaviors.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide guidance and support, reinforcing strategies in daily routines.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in ABA.
**Qualifications:**
- DIPLOMA/GED equivalent.
- OR Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and address individual client needs with patience and understanding.
- A commitment to promoting positive behavior change and enhancing the quality of life for clients.
